The OpenPlant Administrator provides a sample
Configuration complete with WorkSpaces and WorkSets which can be used to as
templates to create you own Workspace and Worksets specific to whatever project
you are working on. These unique WorkSets can be integrated with ProjectWise as
managed worksets, or associated with a CONNECT Project in the Bentley
CONNECTION Center or the PlantSight Portal.
Add a
Configuration
Most organizations will either create a new configuration
or add an existing configuration(s) from which to organize their projects. The
Project Administrator provides the following options for a user to add and use
a configuration aside from the default which is included with the install:
Add a
Workspace
To add a workspace to the new configuration (or to an
existing configuration), use one of the following methods which lets you create
a new workspace either using the sample workspace as a template, or an existing
user configured workspace as a template:
Add a
Workset
Once a new workspace has been added, use either of the
following methods to add a new workset(s):
CONNECTED
Projects
As mentioned above, a workset can be associated with a
CONNECTED Project which can be used to store project information in Bentley
Cloud service such as the CONNECT Center or PlantSight Portal. The following
